Get references from line managers or clinical staff members who hold a more senior position than you. In addition, your referees must also directly work with you.

Mandatory requirements.
Current registration with the nursing and midwifery board of Australia.
Current practising certificate
Recent police clearance certificate
Willingness to obtain a blue card and yellow card.
Certificate III in aged care, disability, or community.
Reliable transport
Current first aid, CPR and manual handling
Monitoring clients’ safety, comfort and welfare by contacting them by phone or by making home visit(s).
At least 100 hours of paid work relative to the position applied for.
